Message from Diamond Lil

Our old Contemptibles Farts (Wallace, Grommit, Basmati, Kermit) have now returned from their epic endurance feat alive and well, although the Tweedles remain in France for the time being.  As you know, this has been a fund-raising effort and to boost the amount already raised Lord Stretch and Diamond Lil will be hosting the Farts meet at their house: Decks, Brook Lane in Shaldon, starting at the usual time of 11.00 a.m. to replace the previously arranged venue at Chudleigh (The Phoenix).   There will be sausage and bacon rolls and cakes, coffee/tea with a minimum charge of £5.00 which will all go towards their Charities.

 
This event will be weather permitting so if it is raining heavily we will revert to The Phoenix at Chudleigh.

Truckers Weekend 16th-18th August 2019

Please can you let Trucker know as soon as possible if you are going to be attending his annual camping/bashing weekend.

It will be at a cost of £10 per head and you must book your pitch if you intend camping.

Friday night the mini bus will be leaving at 6.30pm for the Royal Oak in Dunsford for fish & chips – need to know numbers ASAP so food can be ordered ahead.

Saturday evening there will be a BBQ – Sausages, burgers and bread rolls will be supplied along with a barrel of beer.

However, there will be limited numbers of burgers etc , so any extras you can bring will be greatly appreciated. i.e. vegetarian/vegan options. Also  salads and desserts will be welcomed and of course bring your own booze.

There will be 2 toilets on site, but as they are expensive to hire please can you do your best to keep these as clean as possible.
